Close out the year feeling good about something -- tackle our Goodbye 2020 At-Home Challenge! Complete these challenges (in any order) by midnight of 12/31/2020. Events can be performed at home or at Sonoma Training(open for outdoor workouts). Encourage others inside your 'bubble' to join in!
EVENT 1 - PLANK HOLD
Before you pack-up all those ornaments, have someone place a round tree ornament (or ball) in between your shoulder blades. If the ornament falls, or your hands leave the ground or you collapse, you're done. Make as many attempts -- count your time for as long as you can hold the position.
EVENT 2 - LUNGES & SIT-UPS
With a timer running, complete 50 forward lunges, followed by 50 sit ups, then 40 of each, then 30 of each, then 20 of each, and finally 10 of each for time. Record your time. Leftover Egg Nog is a not a recommended pre-workout beverage!
EVENT 3 - STEP-UPS
Find a hard surface that is ideally 18" inches high. Perform as many step ups as possible in 8 minutes. Challenge Level: Load a backpack, hold a weight or that unwanted Holiday Fruitcake. Record your total steps.
EVENT 4 - TWO MILE RUN
Remind your family just how much they miss you by giving them a short break. Head outside, and record your time for a 2 mile run. Think about how much better 2021 will be! Record your time.
